Alina Osika is currently the Manager of Corporate Partnerships for the Utah Symphony | Utah Opera. Prior to relocating to Salt Lake City, Utah in July 2016, Alina started her career as a Development Associate for the Tulsa Symphony in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
While pursuing her Master’s Degree in Arts Leadership and Administration at Colorado State University in her hometown of Fort Collins, Colorado, she served as one of two Graduate Teaching Assistants for the Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Arts Advocacy, and the Public Department, and as the Graduate Marketing Coordinator for the Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement Office.
Alina has held internship positions with the Route 66 Alliance in Tulsa (marketing), the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio (marketing), the Pittsburgh Opera (education), and with Fort Collins’ summer arts program, Streetmosphere both as an intern (operations) and the program coordinator.
Alina received a Master’s Degree in Arts Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance with a minor in Arts Leadership and Administration from Colorado State University, where she held flute and piccolo positions with the symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, opera orchestra, and chamber ensembles. Former flute instructors include Dr. Michelle Stanley and Kristin Sommer.
Alina serves on the Career and Artistic Development Committee for the National Flute Association and on the Board of Directors for the Utah Flute Association.
In her spare moments, Alina can be found exploring Salt Lake City, dabbling in the culinary arts, rocking her gaming headphones, or prepping for her next 5K.
