High School Scholarship Competition 2024

Repertoire
Candidates should choose two contrasting pieces. Performers must perform with an accompanist if the repertoire requires and the accompanist will not be provided by the Utah Flute Association.
Fees
$35 application fee
Prizes
Winners will be awarded the following prizes:
First Place Winner: $1000
Second Place: $750
Third Place: $500
Honorable Mention: $100
To receive the cash prize, winners will be required to play at the winners recital held on March 15, 2025 at TBA in Salt Lake City.

The Utah Flute Association High School Scholarship Competition is open to Utah graduating seniors. The Utah Flute Association Sonata Competition and High School Scholarship Competition is largely funded through the donation of an anonymous donor. This competition would not be possible without their ongoing generosity. Our donor has graciously supported the rising generation of Utah flutists and the Utah Flute Association for almost 10 years, and we cannot thank them enough.
